Opening of a French cultural center at the Honore de Balzac Center

On June, 1, 2012 in the center of Honore de Balzac, there was an opening of the French cultural and language center. The Mayor Vasil Mazur congratulated children with the opening of this establishment and thanked the leaders of the initiative group for donating to Berdichiv citizens the opportunity to join France.

Julia Lefter, the chairman of the educational center of the French cultural center said that for the moment there is only non-governmental organization, which however will soon be registered in Paris and obtain the status of Alliance francaise. According to Ms. Lefter, children will be able to learn other languages there.

On June, 4 at the Center a language camp for children ages 6 to 14 years was open, duration of 4 hours a day, where children will learn French and English.
